LOCAL YOUTH COMMITMENT CHARTER
We, ___________________, agree to support the Youth Commitment
initiative and by signing we agree to the following actions which
underpin the Charter:
1. Adopt the vision of the Youth Commitment for all young people to be
supported to complete Year 12 or its educational equivalent.
2. Support and implement the attached Youth Commitment principles and
actions.
3. Incorporate our Youth Commitment actions into our annual
organisational planning.
4. Develop an holistic response to assist young people, identified as
most at risk of not completing Year 12 or educational equivalent, to
achieve their aspirations and goals.
5. Register our Youth Commitment actions with the LLEN’s on-line
‘Register of Actions’ link, and provide mid and end of year reports.
6. Seek and develop collaborative relationships with organisations or
services that will assist in supporting young people to develop their
aspirations and achieve their goals.
7. Review, analyse and share organisational / school data to improve
services and / or curriculum which supports positive transitions and
outcomes for youth.
8. Promote and celebrate the achievements of our local Youth
Commitment initiative. |
